Reporting a Concern
At Barley Fields Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to working with parents and carers to ensure that any concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately. As parents you may see events or hear information about children and their families which worry you. If you have a serious and immediate concern about a child please do not hesitate to report this.
If you have a concern about your child or another child at the school, you can:
- Speak directly to your child’s class teacher
- Contact one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs)
- Contact the school office who will direct your concern appropriately to a member of staff in school
- Make a referral directly if you feel it is necessary
All concerns are taken seriously, treated confidentially, and managed in line with our Safeguarding Policy and statutory guidance.
Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs):
- Mrs Caroline Taylor, Head Teacher
- Mr Rob Shildrick, Deputy Head Teacher
- Mrs Clare Shildrick, Assistant Head Teacher
For full details, please see our Safeguarding Policy.
Your vigilance and prompt reporting help us to keep all children safe.
