The PTFA are a group of Parents and staff who meet every few weeks in school with a view to raising funds and holding events for the children at Barley Fields. They organise and run school discos, our preloved uniform shop, Christmas Fairs, Raffles and lots more.
Who can join the friends of Barley Fields?
Any Parent with children at Barley Fields can become a member of the PTFA, we are always really pleased to see new faces at the meetings and events and are very keen to add new members.
What does being part of the PTFA involve?
It all depends on what time members have available! We have some members who attend all the meetings and play a main role in organising events, we have some members who just come along when they can and we have members who can’t attend the meetings but will help out with shopping or photocopying letters or will come along to help out at events if they’re free.
There is no commitment required and we are always grateful to everyone who can help!
What are the benefits of being part of the PTFA?
Joining the Friends of PTFA is a great way to meet other parents and teachers from across the school. It is really rewarding to be involved in the planning of events that the children enjoy so much. It also gives you the opportunity to have a say on what the PTFA funds will be spent on.
How to Join
