Our school is organised into 4 distinct key stages. Each Key Stage is based in its own area of the school with its own entrance, exit and toileting facilities. Classrooms are arranged around shared central area and classes based in each Key Stage work collaboratively to plan and deliver a high quality curriculum.

All classes within the school are of single age groups and are of mixed ability.

Teaching is planned and organised to provide the maximum support and opportunity for learning for all children in each class. This will include whole class teaching, group work and individual work depending on the nature of the activity.

The pastoral care of children in school is the primary responsibility of the child’s class teacher with additional help and guidance from the Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher and Assistant Head Teacher.

Please see below our policy on class organisation and information for parents regarding class allocations which are reviewed annually.
