Come and look around our Early Years Setting

At Barley Fields Primary School, our Early Years setting, which includes Nursery and Reception, provides an inspiring, nurturing and safe environment where children can explore, learn and thrive. Our provision is carefully designed to balance excellent indoor learning spaces with amazing outdoor areas, including our Forest School and purpose-built outdoor classroom, where children can investigate, create and develop their curiosity.

Inside, our classrooms are welcoming, well-resourced and tailored to support all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Outside, children benefit from hands-on, nature-based learning in our Forest School, encouraging independence, problem-solving, teamwork and a love of the natural world.

Together, our indoor and outdoor environments provide a rich, stimulating setting where every child can grow in confidence, curiosity and creativity, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Our key stage has capacity for 168 children, 90 in Reception and 78 in Nursery. It means we need lots of space to explore! Enjoy a little sneak peek by watching the videos below.
