The Friends of Barley Fields are a group of Parents who meet every few weeks in school with a view to raising funds and holding events for the children at Barley Fields. We organise and run school discos, summer fairs, fashion shows, visits from Santa and lots more.
Who can join the friends of Barley Fields?
Any Parent with children at Barley Fields can become a member of the Friends of Barley Fields, we are always really pleased to see new faces at the meetings and events and are very keen to add new members.
What does being a friend of Barley Fields member involve?
It all depends on what time members have available! We have some members who attend all the meetings and play a main role in organising events, we have some members who just come along when they can and we have members who can’t attend the meetings but will help out with shopping or photocopying letters or will come along to help out at events if they’re free.
There is no commitment required and we are always grateful to everyone who can help!
What are the benefits of being a friends of Barley Fields member?
Joining the Friends of Barley Fields is a great way to meet other parents and teachers from across the school. It is really rewarding to be involved in the planning of events that the children enjoy so much. It also gives you the opportunity to have a say on what the Friends of Barley Fields funds will be spent on.
